  1. Is OutScribe secure?
    Yes, it is secure. All client and OutScribe staff communication to our server is encrypted using 256 bit SSL. All passwords are unique to each person using WorkSpace and can be changed frequently by the users at any time.
  2. What is so good about this secure central client area?
    This central client area is designed with simplicity and convenience in mind. It enables clients to keep tabs on every stage of their job – i.e. from the time you submit the audio file until you receive the transcribed documentation.
  3. How will I know what's happening with my job?
    We have a reliable email notification system. Staff are notified when work is received, our quality assurance manager will know when transcribed work is ready for proofreading and clients are informed when work is completed and ready for collection.

  4. Why don't you use other software like QuikScribe or WinScribe?
    It is because we can offer our services cheaper and to a wider market. Our online system is a sophisticated, FREE, all-in-one package specifically created and tailored to your needs. The beauty of this is that we can add new features or modify our system to better suit our clients at any point.
  5. What other features do OutScribe have?
    OutScribe is a website-based service and is thus operating system independent (i.e. able to use on Windows, Mac, Linux, etc) and cross browser compatible (supports Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc).
  6. Who are your staff?
    All work is completed by Australian residents. We do not outsource to other nations. Our transcriptionists are trustworthy, hardworking, conscientious, reliable, efficient and have keen eyes for detail.

  7. Do you have any hidden costs?
    No, we don't. Our costs are very transparent. We charge by "per audio minute" which allows you to know upfront the cost of each of your audio recordings. The major benefit will be greater ability to forecast and budget, not only for individual recordings but even whole projects.
  8. My audio files are too big and I can't upload?
